  I've been a member since 1998. The music is really great and Pastor Anita Warner is so smart and friendly. Guests are always welcome. Advent feels like my second home.

  They have been serving free dinner every Tuesday for about ten years now. The volunteers are very friendly. The meals are provided by our soup kitchen in San Jose - Martha's Kitchen.

  I have been a member of Advent Lutheran Church for 30 years. It has always been a welcoming place, full of friendly, caring people. We are active in the community and have many volunteer opportunities. There is definitely a place for you here!

  Advent's commitment to service and the creative arts is shown in our many projects and worship service style. The visual and musical arts enhance the pastoral message. Pastor Anita, members and friends of Advent are warm, accepting, and non-judgmental. On my spiritual journey, there was a place for me at Advent. There's a place for you here!
